First, let me talk a little about the Purpose and Vision of this blog. After being fed-up and disgusted by recipe blogs written by South Asian housewives trying to figure out how to best please their husbands by making to-be-expected dishes on "mainstream/dominant culture" festival days, we - as desi, queer, gender-bending, non-confroming, poly-sexual, left and far far left, sex-positive womyn - have decided to create this space, which we're calling "Fooling Around With Food": a place to share stories about making good food and making good love :)
